Supreme Court Judge Pfeiffer in support of the East Providence School Committee’s opposition to a teachers union request for an injunction to stop the School Committee from implementing a unilateral decision to reduce teacher salaries and benefits after a negotiation breakdown.

. . . in supporting efforts to consolidate town and school overlapping services, such as finance, internet technology, maintenance and other departments.

. . . in supporting legislation to amend or repeal the Caruolo Act to assure that judicial determinations in suits by School Committees against Town Councils for additional financial support will not violate the State’s property tax cap.
